Paralympic Gold Medallist to Appear at Sarum Rotary Club Meeting

Chris Skelley

On Thursday 9th September 2021, Sarum Rotary Club is pleased to be welcoming Paralympic Gold Medallist, Chris Skelley to the meeting.

Chris, who won gold in Tokyo last month, is a Judoka for the British team.

The meeting will also welcome local young runner, Cameron Jacobs. Chris has been mentoring Cameron through The True Athlete Project, courtesy of a scholarship funded by Sarum Rotary.

Cameron will no doubt want to congratulate Chris on his achievement in Tokyo, as will all the members of Sarum Rotary.

Chris and Cameron will be present at the meeting from 7.30pm. Chris will be joining remotely, whilst Cameron will be attending in person (the first time many members of Sarum Rotary will have met him face-to-face).

The evening is set to be a fantastic event where we will hear all about Chris’ experience at the Paralympics.

Members of all Rotary Clubs are welcome to join us. If you wish to attend, either in person or virtually, please confirm to the Secretary at

The meeting will commence at 6.30pm at Stratford Social Club, Salisbury, SP1 3JR, and via Google Meet.
